Idler pulleys

Idler pulleys are characterized by a number of specific designs or are designated in accordance with their intended use.

Examples: Snub pulley, tensioning pulleys, bend pulley, reversing pulleys, pressure pulleys, tale pulleys, snub pulleys, discharge pulleys, reverse pulleys, guide rollers, smoothing cylinders, and feeding rollers.

We manufacture these pulleys with internal bearing (the pulley body rotates around the shaft) and with external bearing (the shaft is fixedly linked to the pulley body).
We can offer you idler pulleys with internal bearing, e.g. with the flanged bearing versions UCFC and RVFW (with R3 sealing) or with the self-aligning roller bearing of series 222.

Idler pulleys can be manufactured with welded or wedged connections, or with clamping set shaft connections. With most fields of application, however, we recommend the clamping set shaft connection.

Unless there are any special requests, it goes without saying that we turn the pulleys spherically (conical – cylindrical – conical) without any extra charge.
The layout and design of the idler pulleys depend on the environmental variables on site, e.g. the belt width, the quantity of material to be conveyed, and the belt speed.

We manufacture customized idler pulleys and will be pleased to offer you support based on our experience of many years.
