Driving pulleys

Driving pulleys are important components of conveyor belt systems.

That is the very reason why any failures of them have to be avoided. The very robust and maintenance-friendly design of the pulleys ensures maximum service life – so just profit from our experience!

Driving pulleys can be manufactured by using locking bushes (Taperlock) to be welded or by clamping set shaft connections. In most fields of application, however, we recommend to have the clamping set shaft connection.

The layout and design of the driving pulleys depend on the environmental variables on site, e.g. the belt width, the quantity of material to be conveyed, and the belt speed.

Unless requested otherwise, it goes without saying that we turn our pulleys spherically (conical – cylindrical – conical) and supply the fitting key for the groove without extra charge.
